Referees, Who Are They?
The arbitrator or arbitration college, in the case of several arbitrators, is the neutral, independent, and impartial person or persons in charge of resolving the conflict, definitively, by means of a binding award with enforceable force.
- Independent and impartial persons in charge of resolving the conflict that the parties have submitted to them.
- Prestigious professionals with proven experience.
- Accredited by the COURT OF ARBITRATION PMR after a selection process.
- They must comply with the code of ethics and good practices in force at all times.
Who Will Be My Referee?
The arbitrator will be the professional chosen by mutual agreement between the parties among those accredited by the COURT OF ARBITRATION PMR. In the absence of agreement, the arbitrator will be appointed directly by the COURT OF ARBITRATION PMR in accordance with the provisions of article 11 of its Regulations.
The COURT OF ARBITRATION PMR will designate an arbitrator from among the accredited arbitrators that appear in the list published on the institutional website.
The number of referees will always be odd.
